What I have been working on.
I have been concentrating on my Stitchmap BCQC class lately.
I am ready to start embroidery on my projects. In Stitchmap you have a finished product in each class you take. No blocks floating around when done.
This one will be a Thread Roll Up
These 2 will be needle books.

On top of these I am trying to keep up with my local BoM's and my Feathered Star class. Everything else I have been letting slide a bit.
I have just signed up for Kathy's ICQC103 Embellishing with Threads class. Luckily the blocks for this class were made up in an earlier class.

W.I.P. 4-22-2015
It's been awhile since I posted. Been keeping myself pretty busy.
Got the quilting finished on Mimi's Bloomers. Binding is attached just need to trim then hand sew the back of the binding. It is getting too warm to have this in my lap though so it might be awhile before it gets done.
Atlantis Rising has 2 1/2 more blocks to quilt. I did all of the sashing and borders after I quilted around the blocks. Will be a bit before I get back to this as my machine went in for a spa treatment (cleaning).,
This is this months block for the Feathered Star class. I did it ahead of time because the machine needed to go in. It is now all put together and packed away.
CQJP 2015 April block - needs some more work but is getting there.
I am also doing Kathy Shaw's "Working with Dyes and Paints class" this is what I did this morning. I am hoping that some of the colors will lighten up some more overnight. The lace motifs are not completely dry yet.
Stitchmap - Basic Crazy Quilting (need to do the basic class before being able to take the intermediate or advanced).
Picked out material for doing a set consisting of Roll-up, Pincushion and Needlebook. Worked with 3 different sets then have to chose 1. This is the one I chose.

Other than these I am trying to do a couple of cq hearts for a swap also trying to get a cq heart done for someone in the hospital.
So been busy to the point of not knowing which way is up some days.

Have a few finishes :)
First up my March CQJP2015 block Those sequins on and around the pot are all gold even though they look red from the flash.
Here is my Feathered Star block. Am taking a class once a month for 9 months. Will be doing 8 - 10 blocks during that time. Everything fit near perfectly except for the squares in the corners. I was not going to redo everything so just added fabric around the edges then trimmed it up/
Next R2D2 is finished. Will be going to it's home at the end of the month.
Last but not least my hand quilting table/bed runner is finished. I took a class last month on hand quilting: had never done it before. This runner is 5 panels long and 1 panel wide (panel - heart and border). I hope the quilting shows up when you expand the picture.

W.I.P. 3-3-2015
Been trying to get the R2D2 quilt done. Have everything appliqued down except for the 2 blue circles on the middle leg. Not sure if they are needed or note. It is not as crooked as it appears in this photo that is the way it is hanging.
The colors are off for some reason. Background is a dark blue with black. The head is a dark gray and the body is a light gray.
What do you think should I applique those 2 blue circles or remove them?
