I let my husband decide on what to do with the bottom corner, gave him all of the suggestions and this is what I did.
The block is now finished and I am eagerly awaiting the intermediate cq class with Kathy Shaw.

It's a very pretty block. Wish I could see more detail. It's like holding it at arm's length when I want it at the end of my nose. =)
