Winter Crazy Quilt Block

Is pieced, stitched and embellished.

The stitching was done using 2 strands of dmc floss or single strand crochet cotton.  The snowman is padded applique with french knot eyes, smile and buttons, the nose is a lazy daisy stitch.  The arms are chain stitched.  Also used some beads for embellishments of the stitching.  The snowflakes were done using white silk ribbon in either 4mm or 7mm size.  I used some lace material to similulate snow over ground and grass on the bottom.

This is my first actual crazy quilt block.  I did a winter themed one earlier but didn't get to the embellishment phase when I decided to redo it and did this one.

How cute this is . You did a wonderful job. The embroidery and colors are perfect. Are you going to make more blocks to go with this one to make a larger quilt?
