W.I.P. 4-16-2014

Here is what I have been working on lately.

1.  Triangle QAL - quilting is done still needs binding.

2.  CQ class with Kathy Shaw - still need to finish the ribbon embroidery, add charms and beads.  Her class has been great have learned a lot and it isn't over yet.  Plus she will be having an advanced class for those that get their block finished.

3.  Hexie BoM - April Block still need to sew it to the background but other things have needed to be done.

4.  Rusty wasn't around for the picture this time.  Here is my progress on the hexie quilt.  It has been 4th on the to do list lately so not much progress.

Will be linking up with Freshly Pieced WIP , Esther Aliu's WoW , HeLP for Hexie-aholics and will be linking with Hexie Weekend on Friday.

Your crazy patch is lovely. I took a course with Rinske Helmuth several years ago and my single block is still in a box with lots of coloured threads and silk ribbons. . . Someday . . . . but my Dear Jane will be completed.

Sandra, all your WIPs are coming along beautifully! You've made great progress on the hexie quilt and the CQP is so lovely. Congrats!

What a pretty CQ block! I love to embroider crazy quilt stitches but have never learned to do silk ribbon embroidery. Too many projects and just not enough time to do all of them!

Sandra, you really have some wonderful projects going on! Kathy is an amazing embroiderer, and looks like a good teacher, too - and you learned well!

I love the red snowflake in with all the light colored ones, it really pops. I look forward to seeing more of it.

You've been a busy quilter! Love the colours in your triangle quilt! Your hexie basket is so delicate - I must get my basket block made for the Hexie BOM!

Love the neutral fabrics for your basket - I'm still basting mine, too many other projects to work on. LOL!
