W.I.P. March 2014

Here is what I currently have on the go.  Haven't been able to get much finished as I am still sick and according to the doctor will be for another few weeks :(  Nothing serious just a lingering cough that is a real nuisance.

Local BoM

2 more blocks to go to finish this one.

My hexie project is ongoing.  Here are the pieces I have done.

The top 2 rows are waiting to be sewn into the same shape as the stack above.  The others will be partials.  Once I get these 2 rows done I will start sewing the shapes together.

Haven't done anything on my quilting.

Will be linking up to Esther's WoW, Linky Tuesday at Freemotion by the River & WIP Wednesday at  Freshly Pieced.

I just noticed the mistake on the block. Guess I take the corner out, flip it and resew.

Ok, good. I was wondering if the rotated 4-patch was supposed to make some sort of secondary design. I suppose, not so much.

I love the hexie's too. I just learned how to do Grandma's Flower Garden, still a learning process but look forward to being able to complete something like this someday. You are an inspiration.

I love how you are organizing your hexies. Now I wonder how much a box like that costs so that I can do the same for mine!
Every blog that I open with hexies in it makes me want to stop what I am doing and work on my own. It's only recently that I started making them.

That is an impressive stack of hexies! the box is genius. Maybe if I get one, it will prompt me to start making some. A hexie quilt is on my bucket list!

Those hexies look very promising, I love creating production line so of work, it feels so rewarding. I hope you feel 100% soon, those lingering ailments can be so draining.

I love your hexies, Sandra. Guess I have the same thing you do - it's been three weeks now with the cough. Doc says it's something going around. I invite you to link to Hexie Weekend and share your lovelies.

love the hexis and had to look twice for any block error! what a faff but it could've been a deliberate design quirk you know lol
