In celebration of my own design Saint Patrick's Day Wall Hanging being finished as shown below.  I will give 1 pattern away for every 25 members I have on January 31, 2012.

The pattern(s) will be sent as a zip file no hard copies will be sent out.  I will random for the winners on Feb. 1, 2012 and will then notify the winners via email with the zip file attached as well as posting the user names of the winners here on my blog.

The pattern will be available on my Etsy Store on Feb. 1, 2012.

My Snow Hearts (pattern was a BoM from http://gabi-allabout-myquiltshop.blogspot.com/ )

 As you can see I need to finish the quilting then bind it.

Next is still a WiP  the picture shows some of the applique pieces that I have prepared for my Mimi's Bloomers Quilt.

Spent most of my time working on this project.  Have the leaves and flower petals all ready to starch and press as well.

Last but definitely not least.  My own design.  Saint Patrick's Day Wall Hanging

There are words in the Shamrock.  We opted for subtlety in the stitching.  Between that and our camera the words "Happy Saint Patrick's Day" do not show up in the picture.

So over all a productive week.

This weeks question.

What is your favorite applique method and why?

I am fairly new to applique and have been trying out different methods.  So far have tried invisible applique by machine, starch and iron technique.

W I P

Currently am working on

1.  St. Patrick's Day wall hanging of my own design.
2.  Snow Hearts top is done is awaiting sandwiching, quilting then binding.
3.  Mimi's Bloomers - got all the pieces cut for the center block need to do the prep then applique.
4.  Downloaded my February Angel need to copy it onto the fabric then embroidery.
5.  Working on block 6 of the "Witches in Stitches Boo tique".
6.  Just now finished cutting the pieces for the last 3D BoM.

Those are the main 6 at the moment.  Always have several projects on the go.  Will put up some pictures as I finish the projects.
